UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Endocrinology for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin.

100% FTE, Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. You will work at the Junction Road Clinic in Madison, WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our ambulatory teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

Who Has:

  • Strong passion for Endocrinology
  • Clinical rotations or past work experience in Endocrinology

You will also:

  • Provide care primarily to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and/or general endocrine disorders.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient setting 
  • Participate in the daily functions of the Diabetes Management Service.
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or master’s degree from accredited PA Program Required
  Licenses & Certifications
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice Upon Hire Required and
  • Active PA board certification Upon Hire Required
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire Required
