**Opportunity: NP/PA - Cardiothoracic Surgery**

This position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified NP or PA to join a specialized cardiothoracic surgical team. The role focuses on first assist responsibilities and vein harvesting, providing valuable surgical experience in a supportive environment.

**Job Details:**

• First assist role for cardiothoracic surgery procedures and vein harvesting • Minimum of 3 assistants scheduled per day • 1-3 surgical procedures daily • No hospital rounding or admission requirements • Regular shifts from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Friday • Call requirements include 1 call day per week and 1 day backup • 1:4 weekend call rotation (Friday 3:00 PM until Monday 6:30 AM) • 20-minute response time to call • Low call back frequency (typically only 1-2 times per month) • Board certification eligible with minimum ACLS and BLS certifications required • 30-day estimated credentialing timeframe

**Compensation:**

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
