About the preceptor Jordan is looking for:

Located near Huntsville, AL.

I am seeking a preceptor who provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric populations in either primary care or specialty practice. I am currently completing my DNP, MSN, and MBA studies, with a foundation as a BSN-prepared ICU/CVICU nurse (CCRN certified) and some additional training in Nurse Anesthesia. My education and experience have given me a strong background in cardiovascular care, clinical reasoning, and procedural skills, while also preparing me for advanced practice leadership.

I am open to a wide variety of learning opportunities, as every setting offers valuable experience. At the same time, I have particular interests in chronic disease management, preventative health, anesthetics, and cardiovascular care, which align closely with my education and clinical background.

I would value working with a preceptor who is not only clinically skilled, but also committed to mentoring and teaching the next generation of nurse practitioners. A preceptor with an interest in health policy or professional advocacy would be especially meaningful, as I am completing my doctoral work on organ donation and plan to serve as both an educator and a future legislative representative for nurse practitioners in Alabama.
